Sunday school

The Tiruchy-Tanjore Diocese permitted the starting of a Worship Center at the Tabernacle of Testimony, the Chapel of Bishop Heber College under the supervision of the All Saint’s Church from July 1996. The fellowship developed among the families from 1994 facilitated starting of a Sunday school as soon as the Worship centre was started in 1996.

The beautiful environment with its sprawling sylvan campus with its aesthetic ambience and the open order of Sunday school has attracted children from many local churches to St. Luke’s Church Sunday school. The Sunday school functions in available halls in the College campus such as C.E. Hostel chapel, Open Air Stage, Old Auditorium etc., a dedicated team of teachers looks after the spiritual need of the children.
