The organizing committee extends a warm welcome to the Scientists, Researchers, Academicians, Students and Industry Personnel to participate in the “National Conference on Unravelling Biometabolites with Bioactivity” (NCUBB'19). This conference is being organized by Post Graduate and Research Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. Bishop Heber College (Autonomous) has been reaccredited in the 3rd cycle at the 'A' grade by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) with CGPA of 3.58 out of 4. Bishop Heber College is a Christian minority educational institution established by the Tiruchirappalli-Tanjore Diocese of the Church of South India. The college is housed in a sprawling 30 acre land area, with beautiful garden, well furnished and aesthetically designed buildings. It is affiliated to Bharathidasan University and offers a wide variety of Diploma, UG, PG, M.Phil & Ph.D. programs.

DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY AND BIOINFORMATICS
The department was established in the year 2002 with the objective of introducing basic knowledge in Biotechnology and Computation techniques. Since 2006, the department is offering additional programs such as Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics (PGDBI) and Diploma in Bio-Analytical Techniques (DBAT). A team of dedicated and efficient faculty members have made the department strong and viable. The department seeks to function with mutual love, social commitment and diligence to train and develop students through teaching, research and extension activities and engage them to serve the nation in socially relevant areas. The department also conduct regular conferences, seminars and workshops to impart advanced knowledge in the latest development of life sciences and computational analysis.

Bishop Heber College is well connected by Auto/Taxi/Town buses within the city limit. The college is situated 3 kms from the Railway Junction and the Central Bus Station and 10 Kms from Tiruchirappalli International Airport on the Vayalur Road, near Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
As an eco-friendly campus we advice the participants to prepare the posters in paper print format, please avoid flex prints. The extended form of abstract for the conference proceedings should be submitted online to the electronic mail id: firstname.lastname@example.org as an attachment, latest by 3rd February 2019. Format of the abstract can be downloaded from the college website. The abstract should not exceed 500 words. The abstracts will be reviewed by subject experts of the editorial board. Selected abstracts will be intimated for oral or poster presentation on 7th February 2019. The editorial team's decision will be final. The selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
ORAL / POSTER PRESENTATION INSTRUCTION
The poster size should not exceed 5 feet long and 3 feet wide. The posters should include title of the work, all author and institution names at the top of the poster. The title of the poster should not be less than 48 point type. The body lettering should not be less than 24 point type. Space will be provided during the conference for poster presentation. For selected oral talk 5 minutes of presentation and 2 minutes of discussion. LCD projector, laptop and laser pointer will be provided. Best posters/oral presentations will be awarded with prize.
