The Daily Devotion for the spiritual nourishment of the staff and students was regularly conducted in the College Chapel during the working days at 08.05 a.m. for the morning shift and at 01.05 p.m. for the afternoon shift.
The Wednesday Intercessory Prayers and Fasting prayers during the Internal Tests are held under able leadership of Dr. Violet Dhayabaran, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry and Dr. P. John Robinson, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics. Members of the staff participate in the prayer sessions, upholding the college activities, the students and the staff in the presence of God.
Chain prayer is conducted on every first working day of the month for the smooth function and development of the college and for the welfare of the students. Special prayers are conducted during various occasions.
Special Praise and Worship Evening is conducted regularly during the academic year on the 3rd Sundays at 6.00 p.m. in the Tabernacle of Testimony (College Chapel). Staff and Students of various Departments host the programme effectively. Speakers from various Departments of our college and Evangelists from outside the campus are invited to deliver the Spiritual Manna.
An initiative programme “LOGOS”, meditating on the "Word of God" was introduced on 28th July 2016 in order to conduct effective Bible study for the Teaching fraternity. Our college Chaplain Rev. P. Selvaraj inaugurated the programme which was conducted in the last week of every month regularly. Staff members actively participate in this gathering.
The cottage prayer meeting is being held every month regularly at the residence of the staff members in collaboration with the Evangelical Teachers' Fellowship (ETF) Under the vibrant leadership of Dr. M. Daniel Solomon, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work.
Every year Heber Harp is being conducted by RLC in the month of April to commemorate the day of Bishop Heber’s visit to Tiruchirappalli. This Programme includes the Choreos and dance by the inmates of hostels and by the Choreo team of C.E. society by this we spread the word of god to every one.
The Value & Life Oriented Education is the educational wing of religious life committee. It offers special courses like RI & MI to both the first year UG & PG students to impart human values to lead a quality life
The Christian Endeavour Society was started by Dr. M. Marcus Diepan Boominathan on 1st July 1978(1978- 1993). After this the prayer team was run by Prof. JayakarChellaraj who also worked for 10 years. It also Introduced new programmes like Heber Hive which is conducted every week. Special programmes are conducted in odd and even semester "Fetters Free & Rejoice" for the spiritual comfort for the students. And new programme was introduced in 2016 called “Gospel Evening” which is conducted once in every two months.
