About the Department

A picture is worth a thousand words Communication and knowledge dissemination through visuals is more impactful than any other medium of communication. The department of Visual Communication was successfully launched in the academic year 2020-21, though the world is facing pandemic. The department aims to provide world class education in visual communication by giving importance to skill development-oriented approach to the curriculum and pedagogy. The focus of the department is to develop young talents as creative professionals and good citizens of the nation.

VISION

The department strives to create innovative visual media professionals to provide an objective world view by presenting the realities of the societies locally and globally through constructive aesthetic skills and focus on the transformation of society.

MISSION

To provide an opportunity to magnify resourcefulness through substantial training in all types of flair configuration with technological innovation and digital media.

To facilitate the use of alternative media to bring positive changes in society.

To render a broad spectrum of media sectors and assist students in choosing their career opportunities.

Best Practices of the Department

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Its a thought Provoking program begins with the reading of verses from Holy Bible following an sweet sermon based on it, organized by the Department of Visual Communication, streaming everyday in the morning by 8.20 Am in the institutional youtube channel. The main idea behind the initiation of this virtual program is to start the day with a word of God and making it accessible to everyone. This program was started in the academic year 2020 2021, with the honorable presence of our respected Principal Dr. D. Paul Dhayabharan and is running successfully till date.
