Various department of our college organize seminars, conferences, and workshops to aid students in making informed choices. The objective is to help students recognize their abilities by imparting skills such as soft skills, life skills, managerial skills, and communication skills.



During the academic year 2017-2018, various departments of our college organized several training programs and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of students. The Department of Computer Science provided practical experience and knowledge in software development through training programs on Android, Java, and Project Description. The Department of Actuarial Science recognized the importance of effective communication in the corporate world and provided a training program to improve students' business English communication skills. The Department of Information Technology equipped students with the necessary skills to manage stress in their personal and professional lives through a stress management training program. Additionally, the department provided an opportunity for students to showcase their research and communication skills through a paper presentation.

In the academic year 2018-2019, several departments organized capacity building programs. The Department of Information Technology offered training programs on goal setting, time management, and emerging trends in IT. The Department of Biotechnology organized a training program on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Of these departments, the Department of Information Technology focused on life skills such as goal setting and time management, while also emphasizing employability skills by discussing emerging trends in IT. Additionally, the Department of Management Studies and the Department of Computer Science also organized training programs on soft skills such as self-esteem, communication, and leadership.

During the academic year 2019-2020, the Department of Computer Science held two training programs on project proposal preparation and computer technocrat skills. The Department of Bioinformatics organized three training programs on good health, herbal informatics, and employability skills. The Department of Visual Communication conducted three training programs on drawing applications, design principles, and stress management. The Department of Management Studies organized a training program for soft skills. Additionally, the Department of Computer Science held a workshop on employability skills and four training programs on leadership, interview skills, self-esteem, and communication.

During the academic year 2020-2021, our college's IQAC organized three training programs to enhance students' skills in whole person education and institutional visibility. Additionally, several departments organized programs and workshops to improve students' career prospects and skill sets. The Department of English provided training on essential language skills and communication, while the Department of Physics offered refresher courses and events. The Department of Mathematics conducted training on gender equality and safety, and the Department of History held an essay competition. The Department of Chemistry offered training on quantitative aptitude and greener living, and the Department of Commerce organized programs on Excel, skill development, and GST. The Department of Computer Science offered various programs on health, technology trends, and soft skills, while the Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics focused on stress management and vaccine development. The Student Counselling Centre organized training on healthy relationships and mental health, and the Department of Actuarial Science offered career guidance and training on positive attitude and machine learning algorithms.

During the academic year 2021-2022, several departments of our college organized a variety of programs and workshops designed to improve the skill sets and career prospects of our students.From entrepreneurship development to gender sensitization, and from technical workshops to training programs on interview skills, the departments have something to offer for everyone. These programs culminate with a capacity-building program, mental health awareness rally, and skill development program on analytical instrumentation, among others. In the hope that these programs will not only help students excel in their academic and professional pursuits but also foster a sense of responsibility towards the environment and society.

The College recognizes the importance of providing students with opportunities to enhance their skill sets and prepare for their future careers.The programs aim not only to enhance technical skills but also to develop personality and soft skills that are essential for success in the job market. The college caters to the needs of students by conducting Workshops and Seminars on Personality Development, Interpersonal Relationships, Communication Skills, Interview Skills and Presentation Skills to encourage the holistic development of individuals.
