Description | Decidous tree up to 12 m tall, Trunk with dark brown bark. Axillary spines present. Leaves alternate-3-foliolate, sometimes 5-foliolate, dimorphic. Inflorescences axillary and terminal, racemose or corymbose, few-flowered. Flowers bisexual, greenish white or yellow, fragrant. Stamens numerous in 2 or 3 series. Ovary ovoid with faintly ridged, 10-loculed; ovules many, style short; stigma oblong, longitudinally grooved. Berries ovoid, woody, yellowish, many seeded; seeds oblong and flat. |
