Description | Tall evergreen tree up to 25m height, bark bright yellow brown colour, corky and rough. Leaves compound, petiolate, imparipinnate resembles like neem leaf, dark green, ovate to lanceolate, serrate, apex acute. Inflorescence panicle raceme. Flowers white, tubular, pentamerous, complete, zygomorphic, bisexual, sweet scented. Calyx small, green, 5 lobed, Corolla 5 petal, tubular, slightly zygomorphic, white coloured. Stamens 5 rarely 4, epipetalous, didynamous, exserted. Ovary monocarpellary, superior, ovules many, style long, stigma bifid. Fruit flat capsule with many seeds. seeds small and winged |
