Description | Tall tree up to 15m height, bark grey brown with persistent leaf base or with leaf scar. The scar eventually disappears and form smooth trunk. Leave costa palmate, induplicate, dull olive green, drooping, divided into stiff segments, petiole margin toothed or sharply serrate sometimes smooth. Inflorescence intrafoliar spadix. Flowers trimerous, unisexual, light yellow. Male and female flowers are in same inflorescence. Fruit ovoid green or greyish blue in color. |
