   DescriptionClumping palm grow up to 10m height, trunk green with clear node and internode as in areca palm, leaf scar prominent encircle the stem. Leave crown at the top of the tree, paripinnate, leaflets regular or irregularly arranged. Inflorescence interfoliar pendulous branched spikelet’s. Flower in a group of 3 with two male and one female flower. Male flowers sepals 3, light green, petals 3, light green or yellow green, stamens 23 – 40, ovary, style and stigma are well developed but ovules are absent. Female flower with 3 sepals, creamy green, petals 3 green, 3-6 staminodes, stigma small, recurved. Fruit ovoid, drupe, red when mature, seed 5 angled.
