   DescriptionEvergreen perennial succulent sprawling herb, stem fleshy. Bright purple leaves, alternate, sharply pointed, entire leaf margin, sessile, covered with soft and fine hairs. Inflorescence cyme. Flower trimerous, light pink colour with three petals, ovate arranged in a triangle, bract 2 set at the base. Flowers opens only in the morning. Stamens 6, with 3 epipetalous and 3 adherents to the margin, glabrous. Fruit are glabrous capsule, seeds very small.
