The Center for Student Services is a support unit within our college that provides a wide range of services and resources to students. It serves a one-stop-shop for all student needs, providing information and assistance regarding Government identification. All Indian citizens must now have identification that has been authorized by the government. Students can apply and receive identifications such as PAN Card, Passport, and Driving License through the center.
The center also act as a Career Counseling Office for students who are interested in applying for Government Jobs and in learning how to pass various competitive exams such as UPSC, TNPSC, TNUSRB, TANGDCO, TN TRB, ESIC, NDA, CDS, IPS, IAS, IFS, SSC, NABARD, RBI, IIBF, RRB, etc.
At various points in their education, students can obtain job guidance. In addition to this guidance, this procedure frequently entails formal programs that assist students in both planning and carrying out any decisions they make regarding their careers. To assist each student through these adjustments, experts in career development frequently build generalized programs or personalized programs for specific individuals.
Career guidance after Bachelor degree or Post graduate degree is the process of helping individuals in choosing appropriate educational and professional paths and in making career selections based on the demand and requirements of the future of work.
It helps individuals make a shift from the broad awareness of life and work to a more focused understanding of the realistic and useful professional possibilities that are open to them.
Career is a much larger and significant part of our lives today and any decision in terms of career planning now must be made with the utmost attention. With numerous courses, certifications, colleges, job opportunities available, choosing the right career path could become intimidating for students.
o An adequate choice of career will not only offer an effective job opportunity but allows a student to embrace a satisfactory and respectful lifestyle. Also, the desired career path engages individuals, making them more informed, confident, and dedicated. Hence the importance of guidance and counselling cannot be ruled out.
o Lifestyle and personality are the reflection of one’s values and mostly, the professional life they lead. When we grow up, our personal choices, goals, and future plans start revolving around the kind of job we have and the flexibility it can offer.
